A small band, 4 of us, made our way up to see Peter Benson on Sunday 8th October. Peter had a range of projects available, from his whittling books and some Christmas Candles. We each selected different projects to work with, which was feasible with the relatively small number of attendees. There were also a number of Peter’s originals carvings from the whittling books on display.
The session was very enjoyable, though only one of us managed to finish the carvings we started “on the day”. That was the hedgehog in the images above. I would strongly recommend members attend these sessions in the future. They are very enjoyable and Peter is a mine of information to support your carving.
