In response to feedback received as a result of Mary’s questionnaire, we have arranged a visit to the Bearded Pig Forge in Quex Park for a knife making demonstration by blacksmith, Spike Martin. This will take place on 26th April from 9.30 till 3.30. The cost will be £30 for the day and is limited to ten people so places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. If you would like to join us, please let me know in person at Hamlet Wood or Wormshill.
Spike will demonstrate the full process of knife blade manufacture and is happy to produce some blades to order, in advance, for collection on the day. If you are interested in placing an order, please contact Spike with details of the pattern you require for a quote.
